Ramdhura is a small, unhurried hamlet perched at around 5,000 feet in the Kalimpong hills. The homestay sits on a gentle ridge with wide views stretching across forested valleys toward the Kanchenjunga range - best seen on clear winter mornings when the peaks emerge above the clouds. It is the kind of place where the pace drops naturally. There is no agenda. Mornings begin with tea on the veranda, afternoons drift into forest walks or simply sitting with a book, and evenings close with home-cooked meals and early quiet. The host family lives on the property and takes care of everything - from the cooking to pointing you toward trails the maps do not show. Ramdhura works especially well for couples, small families, and anyone looking for a proper rest in the hills rather than a checklist of tourist sights.

The nearest airport is Bagdogra (IXB), approximately 80 km away. The nearest railway station is NJP (New Jalpaiguri), around 70 km. From either point, shared cabs and private taxis run regularly to Kalimpong, from where Ramdhura is a short 18 km drive. We can arrange pickup from NJP/Bagdogra on request.
